We recently purchased a home and had about a million things we needed to attend to including having the dryer vent and chimney cleaned and get advice on what stuff needed to be repaired. We selected 1Chimney & Air based solely on reviews. We really lucked out.
Boyd and his helper not only cleaned out the dryer run but also went into the crawlspace to inspect the dryer vent to make sure it was thoroughly clean they also examined the external vent and explained that we were seeing lint buildup because the flap was stuck open causing the lint to interact with the humid air.

Similar examples on the fireplace and chimney cleaning, inspection and suggested repairs. They showed me the parts that needed attention, explained what i was looking at and when appropriate gave a range of solutions with differing costs. Boyd explained the pluses and minuses of each one.

The cost for the services were very reasonable and Boyd’s expertise was invaluable.

Great work done by Boyd and his crew. Nice & polite guys, worked efficiently and effectively, and got the entire job done in 3 hours. They were helpful with tips on how to keep the home HVAC system running with minimal humidity to mitigate mold growth in the air vent system. I would recommend these guys at 1Chimney & Air Duct Cleaning to anyone who needs their home serviced.

We had tried in the past to find someone to service our wood stove. When other companies heard we lived in a barn and had a fee-standing stove with a smoke stack that was 21 feet tall, they declined the job. Our son found 1Chimney through an online search. Based on all of the positive review, he suggested this firm. Excellent choice. Boyd explained the process, outlined the procedures, and the cost involved. They gave us great tips for maintaining the stove and added comments about safety issues. They removed a great deal of creosote. That the clean-up was professional was an added bonus. We highly recommend 1Chimney and will use them again for sure.

When 1Chimney came to clean out my laundry vent, they realized it was a much bigger job than that which was expected. The technician tried to clean it out but then came back 2 more times with 3 more team members to get the job done right. They were real concerned since its a fire hazard and stayed until it was cleaned out. (They also said they never saw anything like my vent, which must never have been cleaned!)

Exceptional Service from Start to Finish!
I couldn’t be more impressed with A1 Chimney. From the initial consultation to the final sweep, the professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were unmatched. The team arrived right on time, explained every step of the process, and left our home spotless — cleaner than when they arrived!

They didn’t just do the job — they educated me on chimney safety, pointed out potential future issues, and offered proactive solutions without any pushy upselling. You can tell they genuinely care about the safety and satisfaction of their clients.

If you want a trustworthy, transparent, and thorough chimney service, A1 Chimney is the gold standard. I won’t call anyone else. Highly recommended

Dana.

Kelly and Boyd came to check our fireplace out because it wasnt lighting. They did a thorough cleaning and was able to get it up and running again. I was a little skeptical because I’ve never had work done on a gas fireplace that was 20 some years old but it simply would not turn on. I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship, professionalism, and the education they provided on how my gas fireplace works.

Kelly did an awesome job showing me the condition of all the components, what they did, how it all works, and why they needed to clean the whole thing. It really was a mess. When Kelly left, my fireplace was in good working order, looked great, and I had tips on how to keep it that way. Saved me from having to completely replace it. 1Chimney gets all five stars. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Called this business by accident when a previously booked company didn’t show for an appt. Spoke with the owner of this family business and knew very quickly what that this was a company with integrity. Booked an appt easily online. Had a great experience with the wonderful tech and her grandson. She educated me on the use, maintenance and service of my gas fireplace, as it was the first I’ve had. Very kind, professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and will use them again in the future for routine service.

This was my first chimney sweep, and they did a great job. They walked me thru the ins and outs of the chimney so that I can prolong the life and avoid damaging the unit. I will be using them every time, booking site is user friendly and even has a reminder system to let you know it’s cleaning day and that they are on the way
