We had tried in the past to find someone to service our wood stove. When other companies heard we lived in a barn and had a fee-standing stove with a smoke stack that was 21 feet tall, they declined the job. Our son found 1Chimney through an online search. Based on all of the positive review, he suggested this firm. Excellent choice. Boyd explained the process, outlined the procedures, and the cost involved. They gave us great tips for maintaining the stove and added comments about safety issues. They removed a great deal of creosote. That the clean-up was professional was an added bonus. We highly recommend 1Chimney and will use them again for sure.

Nice people but showed up 2 1/2 hours late. Did not want to clean my chimney was quoting a whopping $600.00 for a clean plus thousands of dollars to replace a liner and all the bricks! I asked how much to do it all and refused to give me a set price. Was saying over and over too much work and too much of a hazard for him. Talked my ears off and left. In my opinion he picks and chooses the easy jobs for easy and fast money. Had to go to YouTube and find a way to do it ourselves. To save you a lot of money just buy the cleaning device from Amazon (you need a drill) and vacuum it out yourself, saves you from dealing with characters like this guy.<br><br>** Update** The owner replied to my comment and makes harsh comments about me. This statement and much more of his rant , just goes to show the integrity of his character. To me being professional and respectful to your customers is a must. I do not recommend using this guys service at all.<br><br>** 11/30/25**<br>Even used my home pictures on FB ads for his own personal gain. Says a lot about his integrity and how he carries himself. Boyd and Kathy are great! I called with a request for cleaning and replacing 3 wall inserts on my wood burning fireplace the week before Thanksgiving. While inspecting it he noticed that the floor of the fireplace also needed some repair and put down some new mortar. I was hoping to get it done before the holiday since we had family coming and they did not disappoint! 4 day turnaround and it looks brand new! We will definitely be using them for all of our fireplace cleaning and repairs!

I had a hard time finding a company with the knowledge and expertise you would assume a chimney company should have. Boyd came out to inspect both my fireplaces and spent the time explaining and answering all my questions. He wasn't pushy and the price to get my fireplaces like new again was reasonable. His team was able to get them working and beautiful! I can't recommend them enough!! Extremly happy with my fireplaces!!

When 1Chimney came to clean out my laundry vent, they realized it was a much bigger job than that which was expected. The technician tried to clean it out but then came back 2 more times with 3 more team members to get the job done right. They were real concerned since its a fire hazard and stayed until it was cleaned out. (They also said they never saw anything like my vent, which must never have been cleaned!)
