We recently purchased a home and had about a million things we needed to attend to including having the dryer vent and chimney cleaned and get advice on what stuff needed to be repaired. We selected 1Chimney & Air based solely on reviews. We really lucked out.<br>Boyd and his helper not only cleaned out the dryer run but also went into the crawlspace to inspect the dryer vent to make sure it was thoroughly clean they also examined the external vent and explained that we were seeing lint buildup because the flap was stuck open causing the lint to interact with the humid air.<br><br>Similar examples on the fireplace and chimney cleaning, inspection and suggested repairs. They showed me the parts that needed attention, explained what i was looking at and when appropriate gave a range of solutions with differing costs. Boyd explained the pluses and minuses of each one.<br><br>The cost for the services were very reasonable and Boyd’s expertise was invaluable.

I was a little skeptical because I’ve never had work done on a gas fireplace that was 20 some years old but it simply would not turn on. I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship, professionalism, and the education they provided on how my gas fireplace works.<br><br>Kelly did an awesome job showing me the condition of all the components, what they did, how it all works, and why they needed to clean the whole thing. It really was a mess. When Kelly left, my fireplace was in good working order, looked great, and I had tips on how to keep it that way.
