Chimney Inspection & Repair

We recently purchased an older home in Corsicana. We had some concerns about the safety and condition of the wood burning fireplace.
We contacted 1Chimney for a cleaning and inspection.
Boyd did an inspection and evaluation of the fireplace and chimney.
He found that there were some issues that needed to be addressed.
He listed them in the order of importance with itemized pricing for each, so the we could determine what we wanted to have done.
The estimate was very reasonable so we elected to proceed with all of the recommended projects plus some cosmetic work.
I can't say enough about this company.
Boyd and Junior are a powerful team.
They arrive on time, work diligently, and leave the area clean.
Boyd shared his expertise with us, offering helpful information on the operation and maintenance of our unit.
I also appreciate Kathy in their office. She communicates in a timely manner, which is quite refreshing these days.
Way to go!!

Very knowledgeable. Enjoyed talking with him and his helper (son). Was not pushy for repairs he suggested or upgrades.

We recently purchased a home and had about a million things we needed to attend to including having the dryer vent and chimney cleaned and get advice on what stuff needed to be repaired. We selected 1Chimney & Air based solely on reviews. We really lucked out.
Boyd and his helper not only cleaned out the dryer run but also went into the crawlspace to inspect the dryer vent to make sure it was thoroughly clean they also examined the external vent and explained that we were seeing lint buildup because the flap was stuck open causing the lint to interact with the humid air.

Similar examples on the fireplace and chimney cleaning, inspection and suggested repairs. They showed me the parts that needed attention, explained what i was looking at and when appropriate gave a range of solutions with differing costs. Boyd explained the pluses and minuses of each one.

The cost for the services were very reasonable and Boyd’s expertise was invaluable.

When in need of Chimney maintenance, repair, or other situations, these guys always answer the call. Show up with a smile, get the job done, and answer any questions. My fireplace glass replacement was proving to be difficult since the original manufacturer no longer exists. I made one call to these guys and the solution looks great!

The technician was punctual, knowledgeable, and walked me through every detail of the inspection. They explained what needed attention, what was still in good shape, and gave honest recommendations without trying to upsell unnecessary services.

1Chimney is the best! They were able to come out and fix our Flute in a day! Very affordable also, I got other quotes and they were a lot higher. I really appreciated their quick response time and friendly workers! Would use again for sure!

First time customer posting to say 1Chimney a class act company. Momma K was my tech. A pro who really knows her stuff. Cleaned inside and checked outside the chimney. Found a tiny gas leak. (!) Made a point of explaining safety tips. Very fair price. This will be an annual call!

Boyd and his son did an awesome job! I called him to get a quote and told him about my bad experience with another company that was supposed to do the same job, I fired them and hired him.
He’s invented these refractory panels that sparkle and shimmer and I can’t wait to build my first fire. I actually lost money firing the other company and he discounted them for me to help me out a little bit. I’ve already got another job lined up for him to do.
I would highly recommend him to do your job and I’ll definitely be using him in the future for all my fireplace and chimney needs.
Thank You Boyd!
